Top seed Carlos Alcaraz is through to the Queen’s Club Final after overcoming Spanish compatriot Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets on Saturday to record his 17th consecutive win and set up a match against Jiri Lehecka of Czech Republic.
The reigning French Open champion showed had too much firepower for his 37-year-old opponent during a 6-4, 6-4 victory – the 250th of the 22-year-old’s career. The Spanish star, who won the event in 2023, has now reached a fifth successive final in 2025 and sixth in total – more than any other player.
Alcaraz will now square up against 23-year-old Lehecka, who overcame home favourite and second seed, Jack Draper, with a 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 win to become the first Czech man to reach a top level grasscourt final for 15 years.
The last Czech man to reach a top-level grass-court final was Tomas Berdych at Wimbledon in 2010 and the last to do so at Queen’s was Ivan Lendl in 1990.
