Portuguese forward, Joao Felix, has joined Italian Serie A side, AC Milan, on loan from Chelsea for the rest of the season, six months after moving to Stamford Bridge from La Liga’s Atletico Madrid.
The 25-year-old Portugal international arrived at Stamford Bridge in a £46 million move last summer but has since struggled for regular game-time, with six of his nine starts coming in cup competitions.
“Chelsea forward Joao Felix will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Serie A side AC Milan,” a club statement read. “Joao will now spend the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign at San Siro and we look forward to supporting him during his loan spell.”
Milan will pay the £5 million loan fee and the deal does not come with an obligation to buy. Felix has scored seven goals since rejoining Chelsea for whom he played on loan in the second half of the 2022/2023 season.
