AC Milan pulled off another dramatic comeback win in the Supercoppa, following up the comeback win over Juventus in the semis by coming from 2-0 down in the final against city rivals, Inter Milan, to claim a last-gasp 3-2 win in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Goals either side of half-time from Lautaro Martinez and Mehdi Taremi had the Nerazzurri coasting to a two-goal lead, only for a Theo Hernandez free-kick into the bottom corner sparked a stirring comeback in the 52nd minute.

Hernandez then went from goalscorer to provider, as he found Christian Pulisic in the Inter box, with the American beating a defender to the ball and scoring with 10 minutes to go.

It was then Pulisic’s turn to go from scorer to creator, as his defence-splitting pass was met by Rafael Leao, who squared the ball across goal for Tammy Abraham to tap in the winner in the 94th minute.

The win gives Sérgio Conceição the perfect start to his reign as Milan coach, as the Portuguese gaffer claims his first silverware as the club’s manager in only his second game in charge.
