Denver Nuggets have come from 10 points down at the half to take Game 1 of their Western Conference semi-final series against top seed, Oklahoma City Thunder, in a dramatic finish at Paycom Center on Monday night.

Aaron Gordon drained a three-point shot with four seconds left on the clock to seal a 121-119 win, proving the hero for Denver Nuggets who went on a fast break after Chet Holmgrem’s missed free-throw to set up Gordon for the win.

Holmgrem missed both free-throws after being fouled by Russell Westbrook, as the Nuggets wrapped up a 19-6 run with Gordon’s three to close out the game.

Gordon finished with 22 points and 14 rebounds, while Nikola Jokic posted 18 points in the fourth quarter to end the game with 42 points and 22 rebounds in a stirring display for the Nuggets.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 33 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists for OKC, who had six players score double figures finish the game.
